summary

The advanced ultrasonic material characterization system can be used for material performance characterization. It can measure the longitudinal and transverse wave velocities and elastic modulus of materials, analyze attenuation coefficients, etc. The system host uses proprietary software UMSoft to set system parameters, collect, analyze, and process data. The measurement results include longitudinal wave velocity, transverse wave velocity, Young's modulus, bulk modulus, shear modulus, Poisson's ratio, and attenuation coefficient. For coarse-grained, powder metallurgy, or 3D printing additive manufacturing sample materials, UMS's unique pulse train excitation and weak signal local amplification functions make it easy to measure most isotropic materials. The UMS testing method complies with the national standard GB/T 38897-2020.
